Our Founder

Riccardo Gale is the owner and guiding light of ameriCARE Marin.

In 2022, Riccardo’s mother fell ill with cancer, and he became her primary caregiver. That experience moved him deeply and inspired him to blend his management skills with his passion for providing attentive care, comfort, and companionship to the older adult community here in Marin County.

Riccardo emphasizes clear communication and accountability with joy and gratitude. He believes that ameriCARE Marin's most valuable asset is its caregivers. By treating his staff with respect and reverence, providing advanced training, and establishing clear standards of care, he attracts the most compassionate, skilled, and trustworthy caregivers to his team. He also fosters meaningful connections with the larger family unit, ensuring they remain attuned to their loved one's ongoing health, well-being, and joy of life.

A native San Franciscan, Riccardo earned his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College (1995) and an MBA from Pepperdine University (2003). Before his journey in caregiving, he enjoyed a successful career in Bay Area commercial real estate, where he demonstrated his ability to manage complex projects while fostering long-term, trusting relationships. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, is a passionate car enthusiast, a devoted Giants and Niners fan, and cherishes the abundant outdoors right here in Marin County. Riccardo is a senior member of The Guardsmen, a philanthropic organization serving at-risk youth in the Bay Area.
